You will need to understand the cost base and pinpoint the cost areas that can be improved, both on pricing and on security of supply.
You will work with all suppliers to ensure that we are receiving competitive prices, terms and conditions for all the goods that we purchase.
You will be involved in sourcing new suppliers, contract drafting, negotiation and managing suppliers through the whole procurement process.
You will be responsible for developing and embedding an effective procurement culture and processes in all areas of the Group.
You will also deal with other factors such as sustainability, risk management and ethical issues.
Your work will directly help a business increase controls, save money, minimise waste and increase profits.
